AP Melbourne attended The College of New Jersey as an undergraduate, receiving her degree in the Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with a minor in psychology. She traveled down South and went on to earn her Masters of Education in Special Education from The University of Southern Mississippi. AP Melbourne later attended Hunter College, CUNY and received an Advanced Certificate in Administration and Supervision.

Kris Melbourne joined the P256Q family in 2003, after teaching for 4 years in a private preschool for students with special needs in Bayside, Queens. Prior to becoming an administrator, AP Melbourne spent another 4 years serving as a special educator for 6:1:1 students with autism, as well as a cluster teacher at our 43 and 253 sites. Since then, AP Melbourne has been proudly serving our students, their families and the staff at our P256Q elementary sites as an administrator [253, 333 and 438 (831)/114] for 16 years.

AP Gorski attended SUNY Cortland as an undergraduate, receiving her degree in Inclusive Special Education. She went on to earn her Masters of Education in Special Education and an Advanced Certificate in Administration and Supervision from CUNY Queens. AP Gorski joined the P256Q family in 2010, after teaching for 2 years in a private school for students with special needs in Manhattan. Prior to becoming an administrator, AP Gorski served as a special educator at P253 in a 12:1:1+3 K-2 classroom for 7 years until transitioning to become the Alternate Assessment Coach at P256Q for five years. AP Gorski is very appreciative and humbled to work alongside P256Q's devoted families, students and staff to collaboratively ensure the success of every learner.

AP Morgan attended St. Joseph’s College as an undergraduate student, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Child Study. She went on to earn a Master of Science degree in Literacy Education and an Advanced Certificate in Educational Leadership from Long Island University.

AP Morgan joined the P256Q family in 2010 after serving as a substitute teacher for students with various special needs on Long Island. Prior to becoming the site administrator for P256Q@43, AP Morgan served as a 6:1+1 elementary classroom teacher for students with autism at what is now our site at 438 for three years and as the site’s unit coordinator for three and a half years. AP Morgan is honored and humbled to work with such amazing students, their families, and dedicated staff.

 


Ms. Lottrell

Lottrell Granger

Beach Channel Education Campus

Assistant Principal Lottrell Granger earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from York College, and she earned her Master's of Science in Education and Special Education from Touro College. She subsequently pursued her Advanced Certificate in Supervision and Administration from Hunter College.

Lottrell Granger worked with P369K as a classroom teacher for five years and supported students with emotional disturbances, learning disabilities and Autism in elementary through high school. She later served as a Site Coordinator for seven years.

Since 2008, she has been Assistant Principal at P256Q where she is grateful and holds high regard for the students, families, and staff at P256Q@410 Beach Channel Educational Campus.

 


Ms. Sharon

Sharon McGreevy

St. John’s Home for Boys & MercyFirst

AP McGreevy immigrated to New York from Ireland after the completion of a Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Catering Management. After a time spent in various managerial positions in hotels in New York City, AP McGreevy returned to school to pursue a career in education. She earned her Master's of Education in Special Education from Molloy College. AP McGreevy joined the P256Q family as a substitute teacher in 2010 and from there held various teaching positions, serving both standardized and alternate assessment students. She went on to pursue an Advanced Certificate in Administration and Supervision from The College of St. Rose. After serving as Unit Coordinator for a year, she was hired as Assistant Principal. AP McGreevy considers it an honor and a privilege to serve the students, parents, staff and agency partners at our P256Q@MercyFirst and P256Q@St. John's Residence for Boys sites.
